The table is fine and the refinisher did a good job. The spots are out. There are a couple of small fibers (ie. like from steel wool) in the finish but I don’t know if that is from the factory or the refinisher. I was comparing it to the top of the entertainment console which is smooth as glass. All in all, not anything to lose sleep over but I wish I didn’t have to go through that because of somebody at the shipping company that refuses to follow directions. Again, buying through you was a way better experience than when I bought my dining room and bedroom furniture and I like the quality of your pieces much better. Too bad I didn’t know you two years ago…
…I’m not in a rush for the clock or the chest so whenever you can you can send me some pictures and we’ll take it from there. I like that Washington stain because it gives the wood a nice warm, rich look now without being too dark and shows the grain well. I expect it will darken some in the future (without getting too dark) and look even better.
