Shipshewana Summer Events: What To Do and Where To Go

As summer heats up and furniture-enthusiasts travel North toward the heart of Indiana’s Amish country, the town of Shipshewana is offering a wide selection of events and activities for young and old alike to enjoy.

  • Haiti Benefit Auction – June 3 and 4, local merchants have donated quilts, furniture and other items to be auctioned in the Shipshewana Antique and Auction Building with proceeds going toward Haiti relief efforts
  • Calf Day Celebration – June 11, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Cook’s Bison Ranch offers hay wagon rides, bison burgers, petting zoo, moon walk and face painting for kids, live local music and live bison! Admission is free~
  • Barn Quilt Tour – Starting June 21 through the Fall, cruise the country roads through beautiful scenery and enjoy beautifully-painted quilt murals on traditional barns.
